Online gambling manual – how to face a law

9 Nov 2006

A British law firm noticed that the legalization in the US have created a little shock wave in the British Kingdom, and decided to publish an article on what will happen if a simillar law will be published in the UK. The law in the US says no to online gambling and credit card payments in the online casinos. The enterprise in the UK, to be honest, now seems the complete opposite. The English government is seeking the regularity of the casinos, so the industry will be profitable for its own sake and for the country as well, taxes speaking of course. Online gambling must merge and make good business decisions, says the law firm. What they offer will also help those online gambling companies get out of payment illegality problems, as they receive payments in a normal way.

The law in the Unites States was enforced a month ago and it clearly states that no online gambling is legal inside the US. It also says the credit card companies are not allowed to provide payment service and financial support (you are not able to place a bet on the behalf of your credit card and if you win – you won’t be able to get it through you credit account). This shrinks the possibilities the online gambling in the US has to offer, wagering and payment wise. The US casinos have done quite well to get out of this – but it is still a problem, for most online gambling sites.

On the British side, we know that it is being spoken on the highest levels of the regulation of the online gambling industry. The British want the online gambling to be regularized, and this very good route is on the works right now.
